NATURAL, EFFICIENT, MODERN...OLD
1932 - William Abraham was a traveling salesman, record keeper, buyer and anything else connected with the business. Even though Bayrisch was the spoken language at the Mill, all records were written in English. In the 1920's and 30's the production of socks, mittens, gloves and yarn was slowing and the Woolen Mill started concentrating on making completed comforters from the wool batting they produced. This period marked a key transition in the business. In 1948 the production of mittens, gloves, socks and yarn was discontinued.
