May, 1948 - The Cider Mill/Jelly Factory was torn down for a new retail store in front of the Frankenmuth Woolen Mill.
From its beginnings in 1894, servicing local sheepherders, to knitting socks for the doughboys in Europe, the Frankenmuth Woolen Mill has served its Country and Community for over one-hundred years.
